Project Details:
An opening Flash animation quickly sets the stage for the site by positioning the company as one which unites research and application in a manner that stresses the value of creative solutions.
Images of people, combined with those of research & development, placed on a background of sky, gives the site a warm, "natural" feeling.

Canon U.S.A. recently entered a completely new market, biotechnology, with a new division. DG Interactive was entrusted with creating the web face of the new Canon U.S. Life Sciences.
The challenge was to design a site whose visual vocabulary communicated the goal of the new division, to identify and commercially develop life sciences solutions with potential applications in diagnostics and medical instrumentation.
At the same time, it was important to build on the brand equity of technological excellence and the research & development prowess of Canon.
The resulting work gives a "human" face to technology and emphasizes the connection between technology and the people it benefits.
